New and Improved SfNC Member Site
Your annual membership provides you with access to our new SfNC member site, which is where you’ll be able to access the abstract submission links for our annual meeting and find all archived event recordings.
As of December 1, 2024, member benefits have been migrated to our new SfNC membership site. Any individuals who renewed their annual SfNC membership after June 1, 2024 will be emailed with instructions for how to migrate their membership to the new service.

Individuals who renewed their annual SfNC membership after June 1, 2025 will be grandfathered in to the new membership structure.
Academic Members are individuals who are Full-time or Adjunct Faculty in Psychology, Neuroscience, the arts, or a related field at a college or university and who are interested in the neuroscience of creativity. In addition to the general benefits of SfNC membership, Academic Faculty members may submit an unlimited number of abstracts to the annual meeting and sponsor the submissions of their students or lab.
Academic Trainees are individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, or who are currently completing a post-doctoral fellowship or other training in Psychology, Neuroscience, the arts, or a related field and who are interested in understanding the brain bases of creativity.
Membership tier for academic members who are not faculty or trainees, or non-academic affiliates. Members may represent any field, including education, industry, sciences, arts, and the humanities.
Artist affiliates are professionals in the arts, including performers, designers, composers, writers, visual artists and other content creators. Artists may propose demonstrations of their work that include an analysis of the creative process to the annual meeting.
